Disclosure & Conflicts

How I handle positions, payment, and conflicts.

POSITIONS DISCLOSED NO ISSUER-PAYS EVIDENCE TIERED CORRECTIONS LOGGED

My positions

I hold positions in the Canton ecosystem, in tokens and in equities. The current list is published on the portfolio section of this site and stays current. Every piece I publish that touches a holding carries a disclosure line naming it, in the piece itself, not behind a link. The same rule applies to private correspondence with any project I hold a position in: disclosure at first substantive contact.

Disclosure here means naming the position, never sizing it. I do not publish position sizes, percentages, or portfolio values, and no disclosure line implies a ranking.

What I never accept

I do not take payment from projects I cover. Not for coverage, not for placement, not for favorable framing, not dressed up as consulting. Being covered by Canton Catalyst costs nothing and pays nothing, and there is no version of this operation where that changes quietly.

I also do not take paid work of any kind from an entity whose token or equity I hold, for as long as I hold it. Holding a position and invoicing the same entity is a conflict no disclosure line fixes, so the rule is simply that both cannot be true at once.

Independence is the product. Everything on this page exists to protect it.

What I do sell

I sell research, briefings, and consulting to parties I do not cover: fund service providers, investors, and institutions that want independent intelligence on the Canton Network and real-world-asset tokenization. If a paying client ever becomes relevant to a piece of coverage, that relationship is disclosed in the coverage itself, the same way a position would be.

I also take paid expert consultations under the same rules. In any engagement, I never discuss my employer's business, I never accept work that conflicts with it, and I never handle material non-public information.

How claims are made

Every claim I publish carries an evidence tier: confirmed, announced, or speculated. Announced means a party said it will happen; confirmed means it verifiably did. The two are never blended, and an announcement is never written as fact. Where I cannot verify a claim, I say so rather than repeating it.

I do not publish price predictions, price targets, or valuation calls. Analysis here is event-based: what happened, what it means structurally, and what would have to be true next. Nothing on this site or in anything I sell is investment advice, and none of it is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.

When I get it wrong

Every call is logged permanently, wins and misses alike. When I am wrong, the correction is published and labeled as a correction, in the open, not edited silently into the record. A track record that cannot show its misses is not a track record.
