SINCE 2018 AI & DATA GOVERNANCE BACKGROUND REAL CAPITAL DEPLOYED POSITIONS DISCLOSED

Who I am

My background is in AI and data governance. I've spent my career on the question of how large institutions manage, trust, and make decisions on data at scale, and Canton arrived at exactly the point where that question stopped being abstract. Tokenizing real-world assets isn't primarily a financial innovation. It's a data problem: who can see what, who can prove what, and who can be trusted with it. That's the lens I bring here, and it's why Canton, specifically, is the chain I believe in.

I'm also genuinely excited to be alive for this moment. Financial infrastructure and AI are converging in a way that happens once in a career, if that, and I think the honest long-term upside of this technology reaches further than portfolios. Done right, it's a great equalizer, a real way to widen who gets access to capital and opportunity, not just make existing capital move faster. That belief is part of why I do this, not a footnote to it.

Skin in the game

I've put real capital and real time into Canton and the wider real-world-asset space, not commentary from the sidelines. That gives me a straightforward financial stake in Canton's success, but it goes further than that. I want to see this technology actually work and deliver the impact I believe it can.

I've been in crypto since 2018, long enough to have lived through several cycles of hype outrunning substance, and long enough to know what retail conviction actually feels like from the inside. That sits alongside a career spent on the institutional side, understanding how large organizations actually think about data, risk, and adoption. Most people are fluent in one of those worlds. I've spent years in both, and that's the position this whole project speaks from: someone who can translate between a retail investor's instincts and an institution's requirements, in both directions.

I have no problem being wrong. Being wrong and correcting the record in public is how the collective understanding of this space gets stronger, and I'd rather be part of that process than sit quietly on the sidelines protecting a perfect-looking record.

I have no problem being wrong. I have a problem being uninformed. Information asymmetry isn't a competitive advantage worth defending. It's the thing good research is supposed to close.

That's why every call I make here is logged permanently, wins and misses alike. I've seen what good-quality, honestly-held data can do for an ecosystem, and I'd rather be part of building that than protect an image of always being right. How I handle positions, payment, and conflicts is written down in full on the disclosure page.

Why Canton Catalyst exists

Every day, a flood of information moves through this space: tweets, press releases, opinions, institutional filings, and commentary from people watching the institutions watch the space. Almost none of it is sorted. My job is to run that flood through a filter that separates what's actually true from what only sounds true, so both retail and institutional readers can make better decisions with what's left. My background in data governance is the lens that makes that filtering possible: treating information like a data problem, with ownership, quality standards, and traceable provenance, not just opinion dressed up as analysis. At the root, this exists to kill information asymmetry.

It also exists to make sure the projects actually building here get seen. Every serious team in this ecosystem deserves real recognition, and deserves the widest possible set of eyes actually evaluating what they've built.

And it exists because I think institutions have had the wrong read on this technology for a long time, largely because most of what they saw wasn't built with privacy or governance in mind at all. A platform built privacy-first changes that calculation. Used well, this technology can finally do what it was supposed to do from the start, and I think Canton Catalyst is positioned to recognize that shift as it happens, not years after the fact.

Where this is going

The goal, over the next few years, is actionable intelligence, not just information. Real visibility into what projects are actually building and the impact they're actually having. Investors, institutional and retail alike, having what they need to make the best decision they can, with the noise already filtered out. Staying genuinely close to the pulse of this space, at both the macro and the micro level.

Canton Catalyst exists to catalyze the ecosystem, catalyze visibility, catalyze innovation, catalyze impact.

The ultimate goal is to be the hub: one place, trusted by everyone in it, for access, for understanding what's being built, for tracking real innovation, home to information that's actually been checked rather than just repeated. Whether that's unbiased research, tools that make the data legible, or opportunities to actually collaborate on what comes next.
