// the evidence
Claims, and where each one stands.
Every claim on this page carries its evidence tier. Nothing Equilend states about itself is presented as something measured independently here.
Equilend's 1Source product page states that 1Source is Equilend's distributed ledger solution for securities finance, built on the Canton Network, and that it gives borrowers and lenders the same trade lifecycle data in real time so mismatches that cause reconciliation breaks never form.
equilend.com/solutions/digital/1sourceThe same 1Source page frames the product as a single shared record across counterparties for trade affirmation, recording, notification, and reference data, and states that when fully implemented and adopted 1Source is estimated to save the industry more than $100 million annually. Those savings figures are Equilend's stated estimates, not independently measured here.
equilend.com/solutions/digital/1sourceEquilend's Digital Assets page states that Equilend applies traditional securities finance lifecycle management, real-time data, and settlement discipline to digital assets, and that 1Source keeps trade lifecycle data in sync across counterparties on the Canton Network.
equilend.com/who-we-serve/digital-assetsAn Equilend press release dated 15 October 2025 states that The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (BNY) and National Bank of Canada began executing trades utilizing 1Source's distributed ledger technology, and quotes Equilend CEO Rich Grossi and Chief Product Officer Nick Delikaris on the onboarding milestone. The same release says a global broker dealer was set to join with live transactions imminently and that additional counterparties were nearing adoption; those follow-on names are not listed on the cited page.
equilend.com press: 1Source goes liveAn Equilend press release dated 9 May 2023, Equilend 1Source Joins Digital Asset's Canton Network of Networks, states Equilend is part of the Canton Network in partnership with Digital Asset and other participating firms, and quotes CIO Ken DeGiglio that the 1Source initiative is being built on the Canton ledger as a single source of truth for securities finance transactions.
equilend.com press: Canton Network of NetworksEquilend's About page describes Equilend as a global financial technology firm at the centre of securities finance, serving more than 250 institutions worldwide across Trading, Workflow Automation, Data and Insights, and Digital, formed in 2001 and live from 2002 as independent infrastructure built for the securities finance industry.
equilend.com/aboutCCTools lists EquiLend 1Source as Live on Canton Network, with the tagline DLT-powered securities lending platform on Canton Network, and describes it as a DLT-based single source of truth for securities lending built on Canton, naming North America live activity with BNY, National Bank of Canada, and Goldman Sachs. Directory vote, view, and algorithm scores are not treated as Equilend measurements, and Goldman Sachs is not named on the Equilend go-live press release cited above.
CCTools EquiLend 1Source// what would move the score
Catalysts.
Each one names what I am watching and what would prove me wrong.
Falsified if: that page drops the Canton Network wording without a dated replacement on an Equilend own surface, or the page 404s.
Falsified if: Equilend removes or retracts that go-live statement on its own press surface without a dated replacement naming current live counterparties, or that URL 404s.
// what I could not verify
Gaps.
These are findings, not omissions. I looked and state what I found.
Public technical documentation. The cited Equilend product and press pages describe 1Source in product and FAQ language. No public technical documentation, architecture paper, or SDK for 1Source on Canton was found on the opened Equilend surfaces.
Current live participant roster. The 15 October 2025 go-live release names BNY and National Bank of Canada and states further counterparties were nearing adoption. A current named roster of live 1Source participants beyond that dated release was not published on the opened pages.
Third-party audit of 1Source. No third-party security audit report, SOC 2, ISO 27001 claim, or public bug-bounty programme specific to 1Source appears on the cited Equilend product, about, or press pages.
Ownership and named equity holders. About copy says Equilend was created by the largest participants in securities finance. Individual corporate owners or equity holders are not named on the cited About page.

Position.
Position disclosure. I hold $CC and $CNTN. This page covers a Canton-native product, which triggers disclosure under my map. EquiLend 1Source itself is not a holding of mine.
